Hi all,

Hoping you can help, today I installed KeexyBox and appear to have it running OK apart from one issue. I've created a profile called bedtime to schedule internet access times for certain devices and assigned them to this profile. If I look at devices under Connection Settings I can see they have the bedtime profile but if I look under Connections they still have the default profile. Therefore the bedtime profile rules aren't being activated. If I view the connection details from the Connections list it also says default.
Have I done something wrong or is there a bug?!

For info I downloaded the image and flashed it to an SD card as per the installation instructions.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Matt

Hello,

It is not a bug. If you change the profile of an already connected device you have to reconnect it to force using the new profile. To do it, you have to go under "Connections", locate the device and click on "Reconnect" icon on column "Actions".
For many devices, check the box to the left of each device you want to reconnect, select "Reconnect" at the bottom of the page and click on "Run" button.

More details at: https://wiki.keexybox.org/doku.php/using...#reconnect

I think you and I are trying to accomplish the same thing. Did you ever get this to work to shut down the kid's internet at bedtime?

You may have the issue reported on this post : https://forum.keexybox.org/Thread-Weird-...es-Devices

I highly recommend doing the actions below:

  • Connect over SSH to your raspberryPI
  • As root run :
Code:
su - keexybox
cd /opt/keexybox/keexyapp/src/Shell/
mv ConfigShell.php ConfigShell.php.bak
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/keexybox/keexyapp/master/src/Shell/ConfigShell.php
